Areas vulnerable to nitrate pollution (Four-Year Report 2012-2015. Dir 91/676/EEC)
Description
Areas susceptible to pollution by nitrates from agricultural activities in accordance with Directive 1/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources ("Nitrates Directive"). They are monitored by underground and surface sampling stations, and information is reported to the European Commission every four years.
This version of the vulnerable zones corresponds to that contained in the monitoring report for Directive 91/676/EEC for the four-year period 2012-2015.
