INSPIRE SN Mineral Resources
Description
The dataset contains information on mineral resources in the Free State of Saxony. The dataset shows the area-wide distribution and other attributes (e.g. degree of exploration, petrography, stratigraphy and storage classes) for the following mineral resources - provided that the conditions specified by the Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology are met. These are gravel, gravel sand, sand, solid rock for gravel and chippings, solid rock for building stones, limestone, dolomite stone, marble, clay, kaolin, clay and brick clay. In addition, it contains geoinformation from the Saxon Oberbergamt (OBA) on mining projects of the mining companies in Saxony, from the planning, construction and management of a company to the reuse and cessation of all mining work.
