Specific legal regimes under the project "Recording of a specific legal regime as a contribution to more efficient management of protected areas"

Description

The data contain areas of special legal regimes recorded in the framework of the Project “PPR Recording as a Contribution to More Efficient Management of Protected Areas”. The project includes the recording of national parks (Brijuni, Mljet, Plitvice Lakes, Krka, Risnjak, Kornati, Northern Velebit and Paklenica), nature parks (Medvednica, Žumberak-Samoborsko gorje, Lonjsko polje, Kopački rit, Učka, Velebit, Vransko jezero, Telašćica, Biokovo and Lastovo archipelago) and strict reserves (Hajdučki and Rožanski kukovi, Bijele and Samarske stijene). They are defined by a clearly defined limit and a list of plots confirmed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and as such are graphically and alphanumerically recorded in the cadastral records and, ex officio, sent for registration to the competent land registry departments. The scope of the project is approx. 490 000 ha, i.e. 284 cadastral municipalities in the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia. Data were collected on the basis of official Geodetic bases using the methodology of transferring the boundaries of protected areas, using the description of borders and their presentation on topographic bases of a smaller scale. The geodetic bases are presented for public inspection to the holders of the rights registered in the cadastral records. Articles 41, 67 and 68 of the State Survey and Real Estate Cadastre Act (NN Nos 112/18) and Article 127 of the Nature Protection Act (NN Nos 80/13, 15/18 and 14/19) provide for the possibility of pre-emption of the Republic of Croatia and local and regional self-government units over plots and real estate located within the boundaries of these areas.
