Description
The map Dry or arid period: Average duration of the dry or arid period (months), belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The Dry period map corresponds to a model of average duration of the dry or arid period (number of months with lack of water, difference between potential and actual evapotranspiration) represented through a map of hyposometric inks. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by geostatistical interpolation methods (kriging) from the data of 1803 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
