Digital map of Bavaria

The Digital Local Map of Bavaria (DOK) is a detailed, up-to-date topographic map in raster data format on a scale of 1:10 000. Contents of the DOK are all roads, paths, railways, waters, vegetation areas, borders, ungeneralized individual buildings, street names, points of interest (school, museum, church, hospital, parking lot, etc.). The DOK is available for the whole of Bavaria with the same level of detail and timeliness. The graphics of the DOK are in accordance with Bavaria's own character key. The raster data of the DOK is divided into 36 thematic layers, which all individual raster files (one file for each layer) or as a combined color combination of any raster layers can be submitted. The provision of grid data of arbitrarily shaped surfaces is possible (e.g. along a river). The data can be submitted in any resolution up to a maximum of 200 pixels/cm (508 dpi, equivalent to 0.5 m ground resolution).
