Description
The Protection Needs layer shows the need for urban climate protection in the compensation area of the green/open spaces, agricultural areas and in the forest.
The assessment includes both the cold air generation and cold air flow on the surfaces, as well as their function as a retreat on hot days.
A distinction is made between:
very high need for protection --> In the case of interventions, it is recommended to maintain the urban climate. Demonstrate function. In the case of structural changes, an opinion is useful. In the case of larger projects, however, a model study may be necessary.
