Description

MiGs (main industrial groups) Description: The main industrial groups are categories of the mandatory classification of economic activities (NACE) in the European Union, known by the English abbreviation MIGs (Main Industrial Groupings). This classification is used for short-term statistics and is based on the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community (NACE). The MIGs classification distinguishes economic activities according to whether they result from intermediate goods, capital goods, consumer goods, consumer goods or energy. The current version of the MIGs is the MIGs 2009, which replaced the MIGs 2001 on 1.1.2009. Relationship with other classifications: ISIC, NACE, ÖNACE, HS, CPA, ÖCPA, KN
