Description
Overview map of the spatial distribution of dissolved iron concentrations in the groundwater of Lower Saxony. The map shows the spatial evaluation of 728 groundwater analyses from depths up to a maximum of 10 m below the surface of the terrain. The colour-graded overview map shows only the spatial distribution of the measured iron concentrations and does not take into account any influences of the geological structures and properties of the subsurface. For the creation of the map, the interpolation method of the inverse distance weighting was used.
