Results of the joint application process for upper secondary schools in Helsinki

Description

The Excel file contains the results of the joint application of Finnish- and Swedish-speaking upper secondary schools in Helsinki for the years 2012-2023. The dataset includes the number of applicants and selected applicants, as well as entry limits (lowest average / point limit). The applicants are primarily those who have applied to the upper secondary school in question. Those taken are accepted in the joint application. The lowest score is the average of the numbers, the weighted average or the sum of the average and the selection points. From 2014 onwards, the data will be available from the [Vipunen service] maintained by the Finnish National Agency for Education (https://vipunen.fi/). The statistics of Vipunen are updated and the number of selected people in them is cumulative, so there may be more selected people in the statistics than there are starting places. Vipunen's statistics do not contain information on the number of cancellations of a starting place. The Excel file, on the other hand, has the situation immediately after the selection run from mid-June.
