Noise Action Planning City Bremen Quiet Areas 2017
Description
As part of the 2014 Noise Action Plan, so-called quiet areas were designated in accordance with the Environmental Noise Directive in Bremen. Depending on the size and noise levels, the distinction is made in the categories “quiet landscape”, “quiet urban space” and “city oases”. The exact definition is described in the noise action plan of the municipality of Bremen of 10 June 2014. The quiet areas must be taken into account in the context of the balancing of land management planning and approval procedures.
