Geotheque - Geological samples
Description
This map shows the locations in Flanders where samples of the subsurface are publicly available in the Geotheque of the Department of Environment on the date of 31/12/2023. These are reference samples that help form a picture of the composition and variation of the Flemish subsurface, for geological research, raw materials, climate, groundwater, energy transition and/or spatial issues. The stirred and un stirred steels come from drilling or temporary openings. The samples are potentially available for further (geological) research, by the government or by third parties.
