Group Layers: Climate analysis — Percentage of affected population per municipality
Description
In the climate analysis NRW, the climatic situation is comprehensively recorded in NRW, as well as the (thermally) polluted settlement areas (=active spaces) are identified and demarcated and evaluated from corresponding compensatory areas. The climate analysis was carried out in accordance with the VDI directive 3787, sheet 1. The “affected population” map shows the percentage of people per municipality who, according to climate analysis, live overall consideration in areas with an “unfavorable thermal situation” or “very unfavorable thermal situation”. The population figures are based on the population data from the 2011 ZENSUS survey, which is available at a resolution of 100 m × 100 m and has been interlaced with the polluted areas.
