WFS — Flooded Areas in the Free State of Saxony — Floods August 2002 and June 2013
Description
Documentation of the flood event in August 2002 with an inventory of rivers affected by floods and flooded areas. As a result, the flooded areas are determined in the most important waters of the main river basins Weiße Elster, United Mulde, Zwickauer Mulde, Freiberger Mulde, Elbe and Schwarze Elster. The representation of the flooded area of the Elbe in the district of Saxon Switzerland is based on calculations of the HQ100 and corresponds essentially to the flood spread of 2002.
