Description
The Map Service (WMS) presents the spatial data from the Saarland landscape program as the theme map of surface waters and floodplains.:The Saaraltarme are the only semi-natural larger stillwaters in the Saarland that have been created in the course of straightenings of the Saar or the Saar expansion. Basically, the Saaraltarms should be developed and refurbished close to nature. The Saaralt arms are presented in the landscape program as a development focus for species and biotope protection. In the case of old arms close to compaction space, attention must be paid to the integration of local recreation. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 5.11
