Coastal proximity zone, area — PlanDK
Description
The coastal zone comprises the ‘land zones’ and ‘summer areas’ in coastal areas.
Coastal areas cover an area of approximately 3 km from the coastline. Note. Later changes in legislation mean that “existing urban zone” is not covered by the coastal zone provisions.
The original coastal zone is digitised county for county. Printed retail maps of the coastal proximity zone on a scale of 1:100,000 were issued to municipalities and counties in connection with the Ministry of the Environment’s Guidance No 76 of 27 April 1993.
