Description
The cantonal Veloroutennetz is divided into two different Velonets — a basic route network and a commuter route network. In doing so, it takes into account the different needs of cyclists (e.g. commuters, pupils, tourists, etc.): Commuter routes serve experienced two-wheelers as quickly as possible, direct connection from A to B, while the base network is also designed for cyclists with an increased safety need. The networks are divided into existing and planned route networks. The parking facilities show existing and possible locations for bicycle parking facilities (large bicycle stations and bike & ride facilities) in the canton.
