Roads

Description

A road is a narrow strip of land or of the surface of artificial structure, for example a dike or a bridge, which is used and made suitable for road traffic. Roads are usually paved to improve or enable accessibility for vehicles. Roads are an important part of the traffic infrastructure. Roads are usually referred to as public roads, so also in the rest of this article. However, there are also so-called “own roads” that are not public for road management. In a broader sense, the road can be defined as the primary infrastructure for certain means of transport. This is how we talk about railways and waterways. In some languages, even air routes and cable cars are referred to as a kind of ‘road’. Origin definition: Wikipedia. The roads that are part of a barrier are therefore located on a barrier or a sea dike. These can be hardened or unpaved.
