NPP Poland Environmental Impact Assessment.
Description
In Poland, the construction of the first nuclear power plant (NPP) is planned. It is said to have an output of up to 3,750 MWe and consist of three units. Two sites in the Pomeranian Voivodeship on the Baltic Sea coast have been proposed. The first reactor unit is expected to go into operation in about 10 years, and the other units in 11 and 12 years, respectively. For the second site variant, the start of operation is planned for the first reactor in 11 years and for the two further reactors in 16 and 17 years, respectively. Final technical opinion.
