Industrial Incineration or Coincineration Plants
Description
This Spatial Dataset includes information on waste incineration and co-incineration plants within the scope of Chapter IV of the Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU, DEI) and Chapter IV of the Industrial Emissions Regulation (Royal Decree 815/2013, REI). The EU-Registry scheme defined for the management of DEI-PRTR information in Europe, has generated the level of element with a geographical reality “Installation Part”, to collect the information to report plants of this type and large combustion plants (CDE5, Chapter III of the IED and V of the IER).
In this case, the information reported and with which PRTR-Spain has corresponds mainly to data of an administrative nature, with incineration-co-incineration capacities of different wastes, specific conditions that are established and made available to the public of information. Since the information reported does not vary substantially from year to year, the table that constitutes the CDE has a single registry per plant, with the most up-to-date data on the same reported to the PRTR-Spain System. The fields in this table have information about:
• Basic characteristics of the combustion plant
• Derogations and specific operating conditions
• Public reports of incineration-coincineration
• Waste typologies and incineration-coincineration capacities
