Description
Nature reserves (ยง 23 BNatSchG) serve in particular the conservation, development and restoration of habitats and the associated wild fauna and plant species, in which all destruction, alteration or impairment is excluded. Uses are only permitted to the extent that they do not conflict with the purpose of protection. This harmonised dataset was merged by the Federal Office for Nature Conservation from data from the federal states and the federal government. An update is made annually. Since the data come from different sources and are based on different measurement standards, deviations are possible in a position and also up-to-date.
