Coastal Sea Monitoring Data (WISKI)
Description
The Coastal Sea Hydrological Monitoring Network consists of 15 coastal sea stations. Automatic stations in the coastal sea transmit sea level and water temperature. Coastal stations transmit data every 10 minutes, which go to the website of the Weather Service of the Environmental Agency (the WISKI database displays hourly data). The purpose of monitoring is to assess quantitative water resources, to provide water level data on the basis of which to issue timely and reliable warnings, to ensure maritime safety, etc.
WISKI is a hydrological database managed by the Environment Agency.
