Description
WMS service corresponding to the Habitat of Community Interest priority at European level, but proposed as a non-priority for Andalusia 6220-5, Vallicares vivaces de Agrostis castellana (Agrostietalia castellanae). It corresponds to acidophilous perennial grasslands, with a greater or lesser degree of hydrophilia, which are associated with areas that suffer temporary waterlogging, typical of troughs and other points of water accumulation because there is a lot of clay in the soil. Among the characteristic species are: Agrostis castellana, Gaudinea fragilis, Arthoxanthum aristatum. The interest of these pastures lies in the primary function of colonization and retention of the substrate they present, and the importance they have as a source of food for the natural herbivorous fauna and livestock use.
