Description
The information contained in this dataset is a raster with the slopes of the study area with a resolution of 200 m.
The area covered by the data provided corresponds to SCI ESZZ12002 Banco de Galicia.
The raw data from which this raster comes were acquired during 2010 and 2011, thanks to the BANGAL 0710 and BANGAL0711 oceanographic surveys. During 2019, a reanalysis of the data was undertaken, improving the quality of the data, and from them slope maps were obtained.
The geographical information collected is stored in a spatial database.
The reprocessing works have been financed thanks to the LIFE IP INTEMARES Project (LIFE-IP INTEMARES - Integrated, Innovative and Participatory Management for N2000 network in the Marine Environment - LIFE15 IPE/ES/000012). This integrated project has the challenge of laying the foundations to effectively manage the marine areas of the Natura 2000 Network and complete the work and progress promoted within the framework of the LIFE + INDEMARES project, which managed to take a great step in terms of declaring new areas.
