Description

The information such as width, lateral offset and utility strip type is obtained and displayed from the GIP. With the help of this data, the road cross-section can be mapped. In order to achieve the most complete representation possible, the turnuses are also exported under certain circumstances (if the turnuse does not cut an edge, i.e. only represents the connection between two usage strips directly AND the usage strip has an offset). Turnuses have zero (or 0 or empty string) in the offset, max_offset, wide_avg, wide_min, annotation, and community fields. The max_offset and wide_min fields are not included everywhere. If the value of max_offset is equal to that of offset, then this usually means that max_offset has not been collected separately. The same applies to the fields wide_avg and wide_min. Important fields and data types of the attribute table: Fow (integer): id of the form of way of the associated edge; fow_bez (string[200]): Designation of the from of way of the associated edge; Type: id (integer) of the strip type; typ_bez (string[200]): Identification of the type of use strip; offset (double): average relative lateral position relative to the axis in metres – positive: Link, negative: on the right; max_offset (double) : maximum relative transverse position (if detected) in metres; wide_avg (double): average width in metres; width_min (double): minimum width in metres (if detected); Municipality (string[200]): the name of the municipality in which the use strip is located; in Tunruses this field is empty Data source: strassenquerschnitt.shp
