Groundwater protection areas
Description
The geobase data set includes groundwater protection areas in accordance with water protection legislation. Protective areas are important with regard to future use of drinking water or groundwater enrichment. Within the protection areas, restrictions of use apply. Protection areas are an element of planning groundwater protection, forming part of the water protection map and superimposing the water protection areas.
