Municipal budgets; taxes per municipality
Description
This table deals with the budgeted revenues from municipal levies in thousands of euros and in euros per inhabitant per municipality. The figures presented contain only data that are consistent with the definitions and classifications that the municipalities themselves use in their administration, as laid down in the Decree on Budget and Responsibility of Provinces and Municipalities (GV). The calculation of the charges in euro per inhabitant shall be based on provisional population numbers.

Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are provisional at first publication, with second publication a year later, the figures become final.
If changes occur, this is the result of the availability of new or updated source material.
Amendments as of 26 January 2023:
Provisional figures for 2023 are included.
The figures for 2022 are final.
When will there be new figures?
The new provisional figures will be published in January/February of the financial year. Figures will become final in January/February following the financial year. The figures can be adjusted on the basis of the availability of new or updated source material. In general, the adjustments are small in scope.
Due to changes in the source data, Information for third parties (Iv3), the data from the 2017 budget is not entirely comparable to the data for previous years. More information on this can be found in section 3 under ‘relevant tables’.
