Compensation areas in accordance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act (Compensation List) - Internet

Description

For data protection reasons, this data set contains only a subset of the compensation areas of the Hamburg Compensation Register. These data include all compensation areas from large intervention projects, from land-use planning and eco-account areas in accordance with §16 BNatSchG in conjunction with the Hamburg Eco-account Ordinance. In addition, action areas in accordance with §9 (1) No. 20 BauGB are presented. The areas under the BauGB are not compensatory measures under nature protection law, but are set out in development plans without assignment as ‘areas for the protection, maintenance and development of soil, nature and landscape’ in order to exclude other uses or development on these areas from planning. The compensation list is based on the legal basis of the Federal Nature Conservation Act. Under Paragraph 17(6) of the BNatSchG, the compensatory and replacement measures and the areas used for them are recorded in that list. In addition, information on the respective intervention is stored. The database describes the type of intervention, the description of the intervention as well as compensatory and replacement measures. These data are linked to a GIS program in which the corresponding areas are mapped. Before the amendment of the Federal Nature Conservation Act 2009, the list of compensations was called the "Eingriffskataster". The legal basis was the Hamburg Nature Conservation Act.
