Description
WMTS for displaying digital orthophotos in colour (RGB) superimposed with the road data of the WebAtlasSN. The WMTS (Web Map Tile Service) as a tiled or cached display service, enables high-performance access to geodata. This makes the WMTS suitable for use as a background card. Furthermore, users can replace their own WMTS or update them on the basis of the centrally provided WMTS. The scale of the service has been set up according to the recommendation of the OGC standards. DOPs are equal to the plane, georeferenced aerial images. The projection of the aerial images is carried out via a digital terrain model (DGM) of the Earth’s surface. Since 2005, geobase information and surveying of Saxony Orthophotos has been produced on the basis of aerial images from image flights with digital cameras. They have a ground resolution of 0.20 m. The information on the roads is provided in the Official Topographical Cartographic Information System (ATKIS).
