Description
The service contains the point-shaped location of geotopes. Geotopes are earth-historical formations of inanimate nature that convey insights into the evolution of the earth and life. They have been systematically recorded in Bavaria since 1985 and registered by the State Office for the Environment (LfU) in the “Geotopkataster Bayern”. Please note: The dataset of this WMS service is not up-to-date and incomplete, as some geotopes are not published in general by the State Office for the Environment (reasons: Private land, premises, particularly sensitive objects and geotopes that are not safely accessible). Up-to-date and complete data are available from the LfU data center. Maximum image size: 4096x4096Pixels.
