Description
This WMS presents the information system Hydrogeological Map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 100 000 (IS HK 100). The national map is a practice-oriented interpretation and extension of the information system Geological Map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 100 000. It provides information about the hydrogeologically relevant properties of the upper aquifer and the superimposed top layers. It represents: the spread and permeability of groundwater conductive and low-conducting rock units, the type of cavity, the type of geochemical rock type, the petrography, the solidification of the rock, as well as the bindingness of the top layers and their protective function.
