Main structure: Global estate biotopes
Description
Historical estates in South Holland are of great importance to the surrounding area. With their green and stately character, they form rest areas in the urban area. To ensure that this unique cultural heritage is not lost, the province has established a so-called ‘landgoedbiotoop’. This estate biotope consists of:
- the core of the estate: House with garden and/or park
- a buffer zone around it: the so-called field of view
- valuable elements such as: sightlines, panoramas, road or watercourse on which the estate is located.
Global estate biotopes, established by the Provincial Council as part of the Vision on South Holland - Ordinance on Space. The location was determined by the Provincial Council of Zuid-Holland on 2 July 2010 (including the changes as determined by PS on 23 February 2011). On 29 February 2012, PS adopted the amendments to the PSV and the Space Regulation. This included a large number of - usually small - corrections to the file, these corrections have been implemented in this file.
