Reporting Water Framework Directive 2010: Syntheses on the chemical status of surface water bodies by WFD basin

Description

These summary datasets provide information on the ecological status of each body of surface water:
- EUSurfaceWaterBodyCode: European Water Body Code
- SWB_MS_CD: National water body code
- SWB_NAME: Name of the water body
- Objective_BE_chim: Target date for achieving good chemical status
- ValueChemicalStatus: Value of chemical status
- ChemicalConfidence: confidence level of chemical status
- 1 Heavy Metals[...] 4.9 Hexachlorobutadiene: Quality element exceeding threshold

The chemical status of a body of surface water is determined with regard to compliance with environmental quality standards (EQS) through threshold values. Two classes are defined: good (respect) and not good (non-respect). 41 substances are checked: 8 so-called hazardous substances (Annex IX WFD) and 33 priority substances (Annex X WFD)
