Quarterly financial data of the central and local government sector

Description

The data set contains information on quarterly financial data of central and local government budget institutions in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No 598 of 24 October 2023 [Procedures for the Preparation of the Quarterly Report][1]. [1]:https://likumi.lv/ta/id/346822

Information is provided from accounting accounts in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No 87 of 13 February 2018 ["Procedures for Accounting in Budget Institutions"][2]. [2]:https://likumi.lv/ta/id/297134

In the column ‘Institutional sector of the institution’, the code indicates whether the budget institution belongs to one of the subsectors of general government: central government or local government.

In the column "Basic data or consolidation" - the legend indicates whether the data of the particular row is the institution's basic data or the amount to be consolidated with a minus sign in any of the sectors, subsectors, ministries, local governments or institutions.

Counter-sector of the institution - indicates the institutional affiliation of the counterparty of the amount recorded in the accounting account of the budget institution in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No 1456 of 10 December 2013 ["Regulations on the Classification of Institutional Sectors"][3]. Consolidation 1 - consolidation between central government and local governments in the general government sector;

Consolidation 2 - consolidation between ministries and the Treasury in the central government sector or consolidation between local governments in the local government sector;

Consolidation 3 - Consolidation between ministries and central state institutions;

Consolidation 4 - Consolidation between ministerial/local authorities;

Consolidation 5 - Consolidation between sub-institutions of an individual institution.
