Soil fertility (Natural capital)
Description
This dataset shows the natural soil fertility of grassland and crop parcels in Overijssel, combined with yield loss (due to drought or wet damage). This results in four categories:
1. Fertile soil grassland, low yield loss.
2. Less fertile soil grassland, or fertile but high yield loss.
3. Fertile soils arable farming, low yield loss.
4. Less fertile soil arable, or fertile but high yield loss. This map is based on a model developed by the WUR (Grademeter Services of Nature) and is based on natural soil fertility. This means that this map says nothing about how a farmer manages his or her soil. This dataset is used in the map "soil" as part of the research into natural capital in Overijssel.
