National Landscape South Limburg
Description
The National Landscape is located within the (Euregional) metropolis Liège-Eupen-Aken-Parkstad-Sittard-Genk-Hasselt-Maastricht as part of the cross-border three-country park. It is an area where the quality of life is important for the living and settlement climate of South Limburg. The area has a high density of cultural heritage including many monuments. The unique landscape contributes significantly to the location climate and the quality of living and living of the region. The policy within the National Landscape is aimed at strengthening the city-country relations and, within the so-called protection area, to maintain, manage, develop and experience the landscape core qualities and work from 10 core values from POL2014.
