ÖCPA 2015

Description

ÖCPA (Austrian classification of goods) Description: The ÖCPA is the Austrian version of the CPA. In order to adequately reflect the particularities of Austrian economic activity, the ÖCPA 1996 and ÖCPA 2002 introduced another hierarchical level, which was introduced to the national subcategories. The level of the national subcategories was encoded by adding a single-digit numeric field and separated from the encoding of the subcategory level (6-digit, numerical) by a hyphen. However, at sub-category level, CPA and ÖCPA are completely identical. As CPA 2.1, like CPA 2008, shows a greater detail in its structure, the level of national subcategories is no longer necessary for ÖCPA 2015, as is already the case with ÖCPA 2008.
