Weather and hydrological stations
Description
Weather and hydrological stations belonging to the regional data collection network managed by the Regional Hydrological Service.
The data provided contain the consistency of the network of Pluviometers, Hydrometers, Thermometers and Freatimeters and the related measurements, specified below, for the entire available time series:
- Rain gauges: the amount of accumulated precipitation (mm of rain) falling during the 24 hours between 9 a.m. on the previous day and 9 a.m. on the day in question;
- thermometers: maximum and minimum temperatures (°C) recorded during the 24 hours between 9 a.m. on the previous day and 9 a.m. on the day in question;
- hydrometers (medium levels): water levels (daily averaged m s.z.i.) calculated over the 24 hours between 0 and 24 hours;
- hydrometers (hydrometric observations): meridian water levels (m above sea level) (recorded at 12 o'clock);
- Freatimeters: average daily subsistence (m from b.w.) calculated over the 24 hours between 0 and 24 hours.
Each data element is marked with one of the following flags:
@/-9999 (missing), P (prevalidated), V (validated), R (rebuilt).
It is specified that the coordinates and dimensions reported for each individual station do NOT derive from topographic surveys of precision but have been calculated using different methodologies (relief on IGM 1:25,000 paper, CTR 1:10.000 paper, in situ survey through GPS instrumentation, etc.) and therefore may have a different degree of accuracy depending on the survey system used.
