Distribution of dehesed formations in Andalusia 2005

Description

SIOSE Andalucía is a detailed map of land use (1:10,000) based on the integration of different sources of information, updated to 2005 and adjusted to the limits of the property. From SIOSE Andalucía a selection of those polygons that correspond to adehesada formations is made (SIOSEA05_FADH.shp). It is classified as adehesada formation those entities of the cartographic base SIOSE Andalusia whose use, coverage and type of tree species falls within the definition of adehesada formations of the future Law of the Dehesa. These formations are classified into 4 groups: adehesada formations of quercíneas with herbaceous plants, adehesada formations of other species with herbaceous plants, adehesada formations of quercíneas with herbaceous plants and scrub and adehesada formations of other species with herbaceous plants and scrub. In addition, two other layers necessary for the correct visualization of the map service are published. A raster, SIOSEA05_FADH.tif, for the general view of all Andalusia and a simplified layer, SIOSEA05_FADH _simp25.shp, in which vertices of the polygons have been removed separating them every 25m and that is only valid for visualization at a maximum scale of 1:75,000, at larger scales the lack of definition is perceived. In addition, this layer is not topologically valid, as it has gaps and overlaps derived from simplification.
