Mapping Units -Maps- Strategic Noise (UME) 3 rd Phase

Description

Polygons declared by the competent authorities as geographical information delimiting the units of strategic noise mapping (SMU), for which SRM is produced and geographical information is communicated on the acoustic indicators Lden, Ln, Ld and Le obtained in the works. In cases where the reported geometric entity is a polygon (airports and agglomerations) such entity is respected. In the case of lines, the polygon generated by a 1 m wide buffer around the declared axis for the infrastructure (roads and railways) has been defined. In this way the CDE is homogeneous and unique, including only polygons. EMUs corresponding to the third phase of implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 June 2002 on the assessment and management of environmental noise (END). The entities corresponding to all the strategic noise mapping units that had delivered geospatial data from their third-stage SRMs to the Ministry have been included in a single geodatabase and these were available to the Public in the Basic Acoustic Pollution Information System (SICA) as of 17/11/2021. It should be noted that the information is not complete, because until the fourth phase of implementation of the NDS there was no legal obligation to deliver geospatial information, and for different mapping units (UME) it may not have been delivered, or it has been delivered in the form of polygons (not included in the coverage of information with lines), or there may be delays or failures of deliveries. The information that has been included is that available in SICA on 17/11/2021.
