Structure of working age and gender in municipalities

The dataset contains statistical information from the Register of Natural Persons (until 2021/06.28). Population register) for the number of persons corresponding to the age of work in local governments, broken down by gender. The distribution is in groups up to working age, working age and above working age.

The age of ability to work is determined in accordance with the statutory age of ability to work and retirement age.

In the breakdown of data by local government there are residents of Latvia whose declared, registered, indicated or last address of the place of residence at the moment of data production in the Register of Natural Persons is in the relevant municipality.

Data are prepared twice a year for data on 1 January and 1 July.
