Archaeological Protected Areas
Description
The archaeological sectors refer to areas where the suspicion of archaeological remains is particularly high. They form a basis for cantonal archaeology to give its preliminary opinions. They make it possible to integrate archaeological monitoring into the construction process, anticipate the need for archaeological investigations and avoid unexpected finds that could block an already ongoing construction site.
