Flood sites

Description

The Road Wizard manages flood-prone sites on the basis of flood data, flood risk data and local expertise. If the road has been closed due to flooding, the actual data can be obtained from Fintraffic. The Harja messages also provide information on other road sections that have been reported to have water on the road. Not all of these are necessarily flood targets, but require pruning (road maintenance project manager + flood contact person). In addition to this, there are other flooding sites that do not come up through these two channels, but are known to the contractor/area manager. The ELY Centres are responsible for maintaining the information. The target category is not versionable. The information covers roads, ramps, walking and cycling paths.
