Road traffic noise load Lnight 2022
Description
On the map you can see the noise load due to road traffic on provincial roads. The nocturnal noise load is expressed in Lnight, the measure for the average noise load from 23 hours to 7 hours (per year). Nocturnal noise in our living environment mainly leads to sleep disturbance. The map was created within the framework of the EU Environmental Noise Directive. The noise contours reflect the situation for the 2021 level year, where it should be noted that due to the Corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021 (and therefore less traffic) the 2019 traffic figures were used.
