Residences in the Netherlands 2020
Description
This table gives an overview of residences that existed in the Netherlands on 1 January 2020.
In addition to the residence name, the names of the municipality, the province and the part of the country to which the residence belongs are also included in the table.
The source for the names of residences is the residence classification according to the BAG (Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings). The BAG data is constantly subject to change and can be adjusted monthly. This publication of Residences in the Netherlands includes the residences that existed on 1 January 2020 according to the BAG extract of 8 February 2020.
On 1 January 2020, there were 2500 residences in the Netherlands in 355 municipalities.

Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are provisional, as the source (Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings) is subject to change. No definitive figures will be published.
Amendments as of 2 October 2020
From 01-01-2020 CBS uses the Frisian name (Fryslân) for the province of Friesland.
Changes as of 25 March 2020
This is a new table. However, the figures in this table are identical to those of 2019. There are no changes in the names of residences (in 2020 there are also no municipal reclassifications).
When will there be new figures?
Each spring, a new table with the most recent housing classification is compiled.
