Level of protection of regional flood defences of Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden
Description
The province of Utrecht sets a standard for the level of protection of regional flood defences. These barriers are managed by the Water Board (Hoogheemraadschap de Stichtse Rijnlanden). This was done in the decision of the provincial states of Utrecht of 26 October 2009 of Zuid-Holland of 14 October 2009 on a comprehensive review of the regulations for the Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden concerning water management. Revision 2018 has been laid down in the decree of the provincial states of Utrecht of 10 December 2018, amendments will enter into force from 1-1-2019.
