BFD200 - BFD200: Field capacity in rootable soil

The soil area data at a scale of 1:200,000 (BFD200) provide an overview of the distribution of soils, soil-forming substrates and soil function-related evaluations for the entire state area of Rhineland-Palatinate. The near-surface subsurface is depicted to a depth of two metres. Documentation of methods:The field capacity (FK) denotes the amount of water that a naturally stored soil can retain against gravity.
