INSPIRE-WMS Soil / Soil Geological Map BB 1 : 50 000

Description

The interoperable INSPIRE WMS is a display service that displays data in the annex schema ground (derived from the original dataset: Soil geological map Brandenburg 1 : 50 000 - L3744 Potsdam). It gives an overview of the most high-resolution soil geological maps in scale 1:50,000 (BK50) from the LBGR. Already published: Sheet L3744 (Potsdam). Other sheets are in progress. Further information can be found at http://www.geo.brandenburg.de/lbgr/boden_gru and at http://www.geo.brandenburg.de/ows/htdocs/Bodenuebersichtskarte.html. According to the INSPIRE data specification Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0), the contents of the ground map are INSPIRE-compliant. The WMS contains the following layer: - SO.SoilBody.WRB: Contains information about the code list WRB Reference Soil Group (first level of classification according to the World Reference Base for Soil Resources) via the DerivedSoilProfile. --- The compliant INSPIRE-WMS Soil is a view service that delivers data in the annex schema Soil (derived from the original data set: Soil overview map of the State of Brandenburg 1 : 50,000 - L3744 Potsdam). It provides an overview of the most high-resolution soil geological map at a scale of 1:50.000 (BK50) of the LBGR. Already published: Sheet L3744 (Potsdam). Further sheets are under construction. The content of the soil map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0). The WMS includes the following layer: - SO.SoilBody.WRB: contains information about the WRB Reference Soil Group (list of possible reference soil groups (i.e. first level of classification of the World Reference Base for Soil Resources).
