Description
Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): Aerial photographs are a photographic image of the landscape. They show a real picture of all objects visible from a bird's eye view, such as the road network, the buildings, waters and vegetation, but also objects that were not bound to the location, such as cars, which were at the location recorded at the time of the recording. Because of the special imaging conditions (central perspective), an aerial image, in contrast to a map, does not have an exactly uniform scale. When photographed from the air, the differences in altitude in the terrain cause positional deviations. These increase sharply towards the edge of the picture. By means of computational equalization and digital image processing, digital orthophotos (DOP) are created from the original aerial images, which reproduce the earth's surface to scale and georeferenced. - The link(s) for downloading the records is/are dynamically generated from Get Map calls to a WMS interface
