Air - Immission traffic forecast 2030 Particulate matter (PM2.5)
Description
File provides a forecast of the air quality in terms of ultra fine particulate matter (PM2.5) around national, provincial and municipal roads in Gelderland in the year 2030. The data have been calculated nationally using the Monitoring Tool. For each section of road, the forecast is given for the concentration of PM2.5 at 10 metres from the edge of the road. The air quality is shown in five concentration classes, for the annual average PM2.5 concentration a limit value of 25 μg/m3 applies from 2015. In addition, for 2020 there is an 'indicative limit value' for the annual average of 20 μg/m3. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 10 μg/m3 as a standard according to the latest scientific knowledge. The sources, such as industry and agriculture, are incorporated into the background concentration. The total concentration also includes the direct contribution from road traffic.
