Rig areas

Description

Rig areas are represented as surfaces and indicate areas suitable for longer anchoring/lay-up of offshore installations. The areas form the basis for the NCA’s safeguarding of important rig areas, and will, among other things, be linked to the NCA’s plan and management work pursuant to the Planning and Building Act.
